Editor's Musings

Editor's Musings

Opening thoughts from the editor's desk.

Sharon Cress is editor of the Journal

Dear Clergy Wives:

One thing about life is certain—change! As pastors' wives, if there is one thing "consistent" in our lives, it is change! Whether it is a monumental change like moving across the country or a minor one like a new haircut, change occurs.

With this issue of the magazine, you will probably notice some little changes. I hope you think they are for the better. Besides a bit of a different look, we also have staff changes.

We want to welcome back Ann Taylor to the Shepherdess International staff. Ann was designing and laying out The Journal long before I arrived in this office. A little over a year ago, she decided it was prudent that she follow her husband, David, when he accepted a job transfer to the great Northwest. Regina Hayden, a gifted designer, joined us in producing the magazine. Recently Regina decided her gifts would be better utilized by joining the Youth Department in our building. We wish Regina the best and want to publicly thank her for all her hard work in helping us get out , The Journal

Help! Who is going to design and lay out the magazine? Enter Ann into our lives again! It is a privilege for Annabelle and me to have Ann working with us on this publication.

May the Lord continue to bless each one of you as you serve Him with your gifts and talents. May you and your whole clergy family feel His love and presence every day.

Your friend in Jesus,

Sharon
