Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before Your throne of grace to intercede for my son/daughter. I bring him/her before you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank You that You gave him/her to me to love and train up for You. I ask You to forgive me for all of my failures to guide him/her in the way he/she ought to go. Believing You have forgiven me, I now plead Your mercy and pardon for _____ . I ask that You rebuke the spiritual blindness and deafness that keeps him/her from seeing his/her true spiritual condition. I invite You, Holy Spirit, to speak to his/her heart at this moment. In Your own gentle way, teach how much You love him/her. Remind him/her how much You sacrificed to save him/her. Give him/her the strength to admit his/her wrongs and the peace found in Your forgiveness. By faith I now praise You for saving____
